“A Cry For Help” benefit show for the endangered species of the world presented by Born Free USA

I’m really happy to be a part of this show – great cause and a great lineup of artists. Coming up in January  at Thinkspace Gallery in LA.

‘A Cry For Help’
A benefit show for the endangered species of the world presented by Born Free USA
Opening Reception: Fri, Jan. 8th 7-11PM

January 8th – February 5th, 2010

20% of all proceeds will be donated to Born Free USA

This special exhibit will feature an installation from Bumblebee as well as a group show featuring the works of over 100 artists including:  Amy Sol, Anthony Ausgang, Buff Monster, Catherine Brooks, Chet Zar, Dan May, Dan Quintana, David MacDowell, Gaia, Genevive Zacconi, Kris Lewis, Lesley Reppeteaux, Liz McGrath, Martin Wittfooth, Molly Crabapple, Paul Barnes, Scott G. Brooks, Scott Radke, Tessar Lo, Travis Louie, Van Arno,  Yoskay Yamamoto, and many more.

The folks from ‘Born Free USA’ will also be sending down some representatives to the show to answer questions and will host a special talk/slide show prior to the opening reception. Plans are also underway for talks on the Saturday following the Friday opening, along with pet adoptions throughout the weekend out front our gallery.

Any questions or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to shoot us an e-mail or call. Please take as many ‘works in progress’ and ‘studio shots’ as you can so we can build a nice ‘Sneak Peek’ set on our Flickr leading into the show to help build awareness and provide press several options for coverage.

Thank you again for taking part. Once we have the ad together later this week, we’ll follow up and send you all a jpeg of it for posting on your sites, blogs, etc.

Take care,
Andrew Hosner (co-owner / director) & Amanda Erlanson (co-curator of “A Cry For Help” / editor of Erratic Phenomena)
