Gallery Neptune – A collection of art by gallery artists

Opening reception is Friday February 11 from 6 to 9. I’ll have three drawings in the group show over at Gallery Neptune. One new drawing is another take on “Hope” from the Virtue series. The others are Vanity and Greed, from the Seven Deadly Sins series, most recently seen at Artomatic. This is also Art Walk night in Bethesda so it’s a great opportunity to see lots of work. Frasier Gallery is having an opening reception for their drawing show as well.

Wonderful weekend. FYI… “Unseasonably warm” is a euphemism for global warming.

The State of the Union

The State of the Union was on last night. I didn’t watch it – which is unusual for me. Before the election I was a political news junkie – but since November I’ve been maintaining a self-imposed media blackout – no Air America – no C-Span or Crossfire. Wolfe and I spend only a fraction of the time together that we used to.

State of the Union?

Alias “Expose Yourself 2” Contest

Here is my entry for the Alias Sketchbook Pro contest called Expose Yourself 2. They’re asking artists to create a breakdancing character using only Sketchbook Pro for a video game. Using my handy Fujitsu Tablet PC I created several concepts and got a chance to really explore the software and the tablet. It’s amazing. I predict these things will eventually catch on. Shameless I know – but the winner gets $5000.00 and a new Tablet PC, so please give me a vote – contest starts February 2 ends February 14. You will need to register – but it only takes a minute.
