The Last Holiday Starkillers

Hey Star Wars and mid-century fans – “The Last Holiday Starkillers” art exhibit is coming up 12/14. Opening reception is 6 – 9. We’ll be at 609 H St NE, WDC.

I did two new paintings for this, the first one I’ll share is “Sad Eyed Jedi with a Xenomorph”. She’s a kitschy little take on the mid-century Keane painting, made famous in the movie Big Eyes. My parents had several prints and I grew up looking at them. I dismissed them initially but realize they had a big impact on my work.  I’ll post the second painting soon. I’ll also be showing a few older pieces, including “Sacred Heart of Yoda”.

She would be a great addition to any mid-century decor. Prints will be available soon. Sign up for my mailing list or follow me on social media for updates.
